What to expect as a tenant
StepUp Properties is a member of the Property Redress Scheme and follows all current UK lettings legislation, including the Tenant Fees Act 2019. The only fees you may be asked for are a holding deposit (capped at one week's rent) and the security deposit (capped at five weeks' rent).
Once your application is accepted, your tenancy is drawn up under an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement, your deposit is registered with a government-approved scheme, and you'll receive a full inventory and check-in report.
Should anything need attention during your tenancy, our 24-hour maintenance team is on call - every issue logged, tracked, and resolved as quickly as possible.
